MONTHLY MEETING
Our next monthly meeting takes place this Thursday, 25 March, at 5.00pm at the Town Council offices at the Market Square.

GAELSCOIL
Thanks to the students and mentors of Longford Gaelscoil for their float promoting Tidy Towns in the St Patrick's Day Parade. It was good to see so many environmental themes in the Parade. The Parade, which was so impressive this year, also gave a chance to see the Council's machinery - the green machine, in particular, attracted much interest.

TEMPERANCE HALL
Congratulations to the Temperance Hall committee, architects, builders and various contractors who did a wonderful job restoring this important premises in Longford Town. The front of the building improves the first impression coming into town significantly and will be complimented later in the summer with major work on New Street itself.
