INTRODUCTION
We have listed below examples of the use of Irish throughout our
town. We are lucky to have a dedicated Irish school "Gael Scoil"
which is located at Harbour Row (between Market Square and Killashee
Street).
We
are also fortunate to have a Council sub committee "An Coiste
Logainmneacha Longfoirt" which has been responsible for greater
use of Irish in names for new developments in our town.
